Edison, NJ (Feb. 3, 2023) – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) announces the 2023 Men’s and Women’s Preseason Coaches’ Polls.
Siena has been voted to finish first on the men’s side this year after finishing the 2022 season in second place. Siena received 74 total points which included four first place votes. Rider came in at second in the poll with 71 total points and three first place votes. Fairfield and Mount St. Mary’s that were selected to finish third and fourth each received a single first place vote.
For the women, Quinnipiac has been selected to finish first in conference play for the 2023 season after claiming the 2022 MAAC title. Quinnipiac received seven of a possible nine first place votes for a total of 73 points. Loyola Chicago garnered 66 points to finish second in polling, and Albany received 63 points and the remaining two first place votes to finish third in preseason voting.

The 2023 MAAC Men’s and Women’s Golf Championships will be held at Disney’s Palm Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, FL from Friday, April 21 through Sunday, April 23. The MAAC Championships return to Disney’s Palm Golf Course for the first time since 2014 and the event will be hosted at the course for the fourth time overall, having also been played there in 2013 and 2004 previously.
