Edison, NJ (Mar. 17, 2023) – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) announces that Iona University, Quinnipiac University, and Mount St. Mary’s will be competing in the 2023 Collegiate Esports Commissioners Cup, after receiving the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference automatic bids at the 2023 MAAC Esports Championships.
Iona University will be competing in Rocket League, Quinnipiac University will be competing in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Valorant, and Mount St. Mary’s will be competing in Overwatch.
The 2023 Collegiate Esports Commissioners Cup will be taking place at the Esports Stadium Arlington & Expo Center in Arlington, Texas. Media day will take place on Friday, May 5
th and competition will be on Saturday, May 6
th and Sunday, May 7
th.
