Brandon Olden ran a time of 13:50.53 in the 5,000 at The Penn Relays for an outdoor school record and the third-fastest time in the MAAC this season.
Men’s Field Performer of the Week
Noah Brown, Marist
So., Gardiner, NY, New Paltz
Noah Brown set a new school record in the pole vault for the Red Foxes as he vaulted for a height of 4.35 meters (14 feet, 3.25 inches) at the Yale Springtime Invite beating the previous school record Noah brown set earlier in the season.
Women’s Track Performer of the Week
Teagan Schein-Becker, Rider
Gr., Trappe, PA, Perkiomen Valley
Schein-Becker anchored two relays to Rider records at the Penn Relays. The DMR finished 4th in the college section in 11:29.54. The 4x800 finished 2nd in the college section running 8:48.92. It is an ECAC qualifier and number 1 time in the MAAC. Her 2:05.25 split was the second fastest split in the College and Championship of America sections.
Women’s Field Performer of the Week
Samantha Kamara, Rider
Jr., Parlin, NJ, Sayreville
Rider’s Samantha Kamara finished 3rd in the hammer at the TCNJ Lions Invitational throwing 47.87m.
The 2023 MAAC Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships will take place on Saturday and Sunday, May 6-7, at Morgan Track in Emmitsburg, Maryland on the campus of Mount St. Mary’s University.
