On Tuesday, the NCAA Committee on Infractions announced its approval of a negotiated resolution for Manhattan College’s multiple violations of NCAA rules. The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference’s compliance review program had previously identified compliance issues within the athletics department. Unfortunately, the conference’s recommendations were not implemented until summer of 2022.
Manhattan worked cooperatively with the NCAA staff throughout the infractions process. They have accepted responsibility for their actions and intend to fully implement the remedies as outlined by the NCAA.
The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference and its member institutions are committed to following all rules and regulations set forth by the conference and NCAA. The conference regrets that this occurred and will work with Manhattan to ensure that all agreed upon remedies are executed.
