Sacred Heart’s Lukasik-Drescher and Manhattan’s Mihelakos Named Bob McCloskey Insurance MAAC Student-Athletes of the Week

Doria has been an outstanding student, athlete, and leader as our team's captain this year. She has thrived with her challenging engineering course load, and always stays on top of her responsibilities outside of the classroom while balancing the demands of being an exemplary scholar with high goals on the water for our MAAC varsity boats. 
 
Female Student-Athlete of the Week
Dimitri Mihelakos, Manhattan, Men’s Golf
Sr./ Halifax, Nova Scotia, Halifax West High School
 
Mihelakos finishes his final season as a student athlete with a 4.00 grade-point average and will graduate next week with a bachelor's degree in accounting. This season, Mihelakos averaged roughly seven points per contest through a combined 25 rounds and totaled roughly 56 points. During the Southern Intercollegiate hosted by the University of Georgia in early spring, Mihelakos paced the Jaspers with three birdies, highlighted by a sixth-hole eagle.
