EDISON, NJ (Feb. 8, 2024) – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) has revealed the 2024 Men’s and Women’s Golf Preseason Coaches’ Polls, as voted on by the league's head coaches. Defending champion, Siena College, was voted as the unanimous favorite on the men’s side, while UAlbany was selected as the top choice in the women’s poll.
The Siena Saints collected all nine first-place votes, totaling a league-most 81 points in the men’s poll, making the defending champs the preseason favorites to repeat in 2024. In 2023, Siena hoisted the program’s fifth MAAC Championship in program history, the first since 2016, making its fourth NCAA Regional appearance.
Iona was picked second in the poll, earning 69 points, followed by 2023 runner-up Fairfield, who was picked third and received 58 points.
The UAlbany Great Danes compiled 73 points, while receiving four first-place votes to lead the women’s poll. UAlbany has finished as the championship runner-up the past three seasons dating back to 2021, but had previously won back-to-back MAAC titles in 2018 and 2019.
Three-time defending MAAC Champion, Quinnipiac was voted a close second in the poll, finishing with 70 points and the remaining five first-place votes. Dayton (59) and Loyola Chicago (58) followed in third and fourth-place, respectively.

The 2024 MAAC Men’s & Women’s Golf Championships return to Disney’s Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, FL from April 19-21. The 2024 championships will mark the 13
th consecutive season the championships are hosted at Disney’s Golf Course dating back to 2011, and the 22
