EDISON, NJ (Aug. 1, 2024) – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) announced its 2024 fall championships formats and sites. With the increase of MAAC membership to 13 institutions, the league has expanded the championship field from six teams to eight teams in the fall sports of men’s soccer, women’s soccer, and volleyball. Moreover, the Conference has revised its championship format for all three sports for the upcoming 2024 season.
Men’s and Women’s Cross Country:
- All teams participate
- Men’s 8k – 11:00 a.m.
- Women’s 6k – 12:00 p.m.
- Manhattan College will serve as host at Twin Ponds on the Farm in Montgomery, NY
- Saturday, November 2
Women’s Soccer:
- Eight-team field
- All matches hosted by each higher seed
- Bracket will reseed after each round
- Format:
- Quarterfinals: Sunday, November 3
- Semifinals: Thursday, November 7
- Championship: Sunday, November 10
Men’s Soccer:
- Eight-team field
- All matches hosted by each higher seed
- Bracket will reseed after each round
- Format:
- Quarterfinals: Sunday, November 10
- Semifinals: Thursday, November 14
- Championship: Sunday, November 17
Volleyball:
- Eight-team field
- No. 1 and No. 2 seeds earn a first round and second round bye
- No. 3 and No. 4 seeds earn a first round bye
- Siena College will serve as host at the UHY Center in Loudonville, NY
- Bracket does not reseed
- Format:
- First Round: Thursday, November 21
- Second Round: Friday, November 22
- Semifinals: Saturday, November 23
- Championship: Sunday, November 24
