Balazs Ament earned two wins during the three-day Terrier Invitational which included Boston University, Boston College, UMass, Bryant, Army West Point, and Colgate. He took first place in both the 100 and 200 breaststrokes. He clocked in with a time of 54.58 in the 100 breaststroke and added another win in the 200 breaststroke by completing the distance in 1:59.27.
Men’s Diver of the Week
Stavros Xantheas, Rider
Jr., West Orange, NJ, West Orange
Xantheas was named Diver of the Meet at the H2ounds Invitational after winning both the 1-meter and the 3-meter at the event hosted by Loyola (MD). He scored 264.70 on the 1-meter and 286.60 on the 3-meter.
Men’s Rookie of the Week
Patch Robinson, Saint Peter's
Fr., Ipswich, England, Farlingaye High School
Patch Robinson had another strong showing at Sacred Heart’s Friendsgiving Duals, earning three podium finishes across his events. Robinson opened the meet with a silver medal in the 1000-yard freestyle, posting a time of 9:58.68, and added another silver in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:00.17. He also contributed to a bronze finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay, helping the Peacocks secure third in 1:31.42.
Women’s Swimmer of the Week & Rookie of the Week
Natasha De Pree, Fairfield
Fr., Somerset, England, Millfield Futures
Natasha De Pree won three events at the Terrier Invitational last weekend, an event that included Boston University, Northeastern, Bryant, UMass, Boston College, Army West Point, and Colgate. She opened with the best time in the 500 yard free, sporting a time of 4:50.45. She also helped the 400 medley relay team finish third (3:44.66) in addition to swimming in the 200 free relay. On Saturday, De Pree captured first in the 200 free with a time of 1:50.11 in addition to swimming in the 800 free relay (5th - 7:33.85) and the 200 medley relay. On Sunday, De Pree made it three victories with a first-place finish in the 1650 free, completing the course in 16:44.48.
Women’s Diver of the Week
Sinclair Yadao, Sacred Heart
So., Sacramento, CA, St. Francis Catholic High School
Sinclair Yadao had an impressive outing during Sacred Heart’s Friendsgiving Duals which included Saint Peter's, Merrimack and Bridgeport. She came in first place in the 1m dive, scoring 266.48 to top the field. Yadao has now qualified for NCAA Zones two years in a row.
The 2026 MAAC Men's & Women's Swimming & Diving Championships is a four-day meet that will take place February 11-14, 2026, and will be hosted at SPIRE Academy in Geneva, Ohio. 2026 will mark the third straight year the championships are hosted at SPIRE.
