LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL (April 19, 2025) – The 2025 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Women's Golf Championship came to an end Saturday afternoon with Quinnipiac University winning the team title with a total score of 883 (+19). The Quinnipiac team maintained consistency throughout the three rounds, scoring 295 (+7), 293 (+5), and 295 (+7) in rounds 1, 2, and 3, respectively.
Bobcat freshman Sophia Fujita also secured the individual title with a total score of 217 (+1), earning her the 2025 McLeod trophy. Fujita's performance included a 68 (-4) in Round 1, 74 (+2) in Round 2, and 75 (+3) in Round 3. She held onto the first-place spot across all three rounds.
Other notable team performances included UAlbany finishing second with a total of 896 (+32) and Sacred Heart taking third place with a score of 904 (+40). Merrimack, Siena, and Fairfield followed in the team standings.

The 2025 MAAC Men’s & Women’s Golf Championships return to Disney’s Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, FL from April 17-29. The 2025 championships will mark the 14
th consecutive season the championships are hosted at Disney’s Golf Course dating back to 2011, and the 23
