The Siena Saints captured the 2025 MAAC Men’s Lacrosse Championship with a hard-fought 12–8 victory over Sacred Heart on Saturday afternoon, fueled by a relentless defensive effort and a four-goal performance from senior attacker Pratt Reynolds.
In a game defined by momentum swings and physical play, Sacred Heart struck first behind Jake Ward, but Siena’s balanced offense and timely man-up execution turned the tide. Conor Hufnagel and Patrick Radomski delivered key tallies early, while faceoff dominance and tough midfield play kept SHU from finding rhythm.
Despite multiple Sacred Heart rallies—including man-up goals by Matt Pepe and Tim Kiely—Siena goaltender Andrew Arcuri stood tall with several critical saves, finishing with double digits to secure Tournament MVP honors.
Ryan McCarthy’s four assists orchestrated the Saints' attack, and late goals by Reynolds sealed the win, as Siena pulled away in the final minutes.
With the title, Siena punches its ticket to the NCAA Tournament, capping off a dominant conference run with a resilient championship performance. The 2025 NCAA Men’s Lacrosse selection show will take place tomorrow, May 4th at 9:30pm.
