EDISON, NJ (Aug. 28, 2025) – The 2025 volleyball campaign starts this weekend for Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) teams, with all 12 conference squads in action. All 12 teams will be participating in multi-team tournaments from Friday through Sunday.
The Canisius University Golden Griffins travel to Youngstown, OH for the YSU Invitational, hosted by Youngstown State. The defending MAAC Champions and preseason favorites, Fairfield University Stags will participate in the Quest for the Crown, hosted by Old Dominion in Norfolk, VA. The Iona University Gaels are set to host the 2025 Iona Invitational at the Hynes Athletics Center, welcoming Boston College, NJIT, and Stonehill to New Rochelle, NY. Taking part in the New Mexico Lobo Invitational in Albuquerque, NM will be the Manhattan University Jaspers. The Marist University Red Foxes will trek to Buffalo, NY for the University of Buffalo Invite. The Warriors of Merrimack College will partake in the MSU Tournament, hosted by Michigan State in East Lansing, MI. The MAAC duo of Niagara University and Rider University will be playing in the Salt City Classic, out in Syracuse, NY. The Quinnipiac University Bobcats visit Peoria, IL to compete in Bradley University’s Invitational. The Sacred Heart University Pioneers kick off their season at the Spartan Classic, hosted by UNC Greensboro in Greensboro, NC. Heading to Durham, NH for the Holly Young Invitational will be the Saint Peter’s University Peacocks, hosted by New Hampshire. The Siena University Saints wrap up MAAC weekend action with the Stony Brook Tournament, hosted by Stony Brook in Stony Brook, NY.

The 2025 MAAC Volleyball Championship is a six-team, single-elimination championship taking place November 18 - November 24, 2025. The first round will be hosted by the #3 and #4 seeds. The semifinal round and championship final will be hosted by the #1 seed. The semifinals can be played between November 21-23, and the championship final can be played between November 22-24.
