Velleco’s 200 fly was still faster than anyone in the conference this week, including swimmers who were suited up.

Women’s Diver of the Week/Rookie of the Week
Ryleigh Mahoney, Sacred Heart
FY., Salem, NH, Salem

Ryleigh Mahoney had a huge week, winning both the 1-meter and 3-meter boards for Sacred Heart against CCSU in the Nutmeg Classic. She broke the Sacred Heart school record on 3-meter and scored over 300 points, becoming the first MAAC diver to do that in more than 10 years. That dive also qualified her for NCAA Zones on 3-meter. Mahoney’s 1-meter scores continue to clear the NCAA Zone standard, showing how consistent she has been all season.
