Men’s Swimmer of the Week
Aidan Schnapf, Fairfield
Jr., Jamison, PA,
La Salle College High School
Aidan Schnapf competed in four events over the weekend, taking home two first-place and two second-place finishes individually. He also was part of the 400 free relay team that secured second place against UMass with a time of 3:02.14. He started his individual competition with a first- and a second-place finish against Bridgeport. He posted the best time in the 100 freestyle (51.56) and the second-best time in the 200 freestyle (1:53.89). One day later, he won the 200 backstroke by touching the wall in 1:49.17 and taking the runner-up spot in the 200 freestyle (1:40.75).
Men’s Diver of the Week
Dylan Riccio, Iona
Sr., Harrison, NY, Archbishop Stepinac
Dylan Riccio won both boards versus Manhattan. In his last regular season meet, Riccio scored a 282.45 in the 1 meter and a 295.35 in the 3-meter.
Men’s Rookie of the Week
Brady King, Marist
Fr., Macungie, PA, Emmaus High School
Brady King had a stellar day for Marist in a dual meet against Binghamton on Saturday. He had a first place finish in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:54.02. King also had a second place finish in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 53.23 and helped Marist finish fourth in the 400-yard medley relay with a time of 3:32.70.
Women’s Swimmer of the Week
Allie Bashor, Fairfield
Gr., North Tonawanda, NY, Starpoint High School
Allie Bashor brought home three individual first-place finishes plus helped a pair of relay teams take gold in a pair of meets last weekend. She opened by posting first-place swims in the 100 butterfly (1:04.08) and the 50 butterfly (29.07) in a tri-meet with Sacred Heart and Bridgeport. She was also part of the 200 free relay team's win (1:50.17) as well as the 200 medley relay team's victory (1:58.54). The next day, she earned a first-place finish in the 100 butterfly against UMass (55.91) as well as fifth-place time of 52.99 in the 100 freestyle. She returned to the pool as part of second-place finishes by the 400 free relay (3:31.98) and the 200 medley relay (1:44.25).
Women’s Diver of the Week
Gabbie Norton, Marist
So., Albany, NY, UNCW
Gabbie Norton placed first overall on both boards with scores 287.33 (3-meter) and 268.58 (1-meter) against Binghamton on senior night. On the 3-meter boards Gabbie Norton placed first with a score of 287.33, second place finished 27 points behind. Norton also finished first on the 1-meter boards with a score of 268.58. This time 19 points ahead of second place.
Women’s Rookie of the Week
Ryleigh Mahoney, Sacred Heart
FY., Salem, NH, Salem
Ryleigh Mahoney had a great week against Fairfield, UB, and Holy Cross. She won both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events on both days. All four of her scores were over the NCAA qualifying zone standard. Her scores on the 3-meter board were over 300 points both times. At Holy Cross, Mahoney also broke the pool record.
The 2026 MAAC Men's & Women's Swimming & Diving Championships is a four-day meet that will take place February 11-14, 2026, and will be hosted at SPIRE Academy in Geneva, Ohio. 2026 will mark the third straight year the championships are hosted at SPIRE.
