Emma Petersen was Siena’s most consistent offensive performer during a five-game stretch at the CSU Kickoff, producing power, run production, and timely hitting throughout the week. Petersen recorded multiple multi-hit games and drove in key runs, highlighted by a two-hit, three-RBI performance in Siena’s 9–6 win over Charleston Southern. She also homered against Central Michigan and added RBIs in three separate games, continuing her power surge with extra-base hits and clutch production.

Violet Marta, Siena

Violet Marta delivered a standout week in the circle, playing a pivotal role in Siena’s two wins across five games at the CSU Kickoff. Marta earned two victories, including a complete-game effort in a 6–2 win over Charleston Southern, where she allowed just two runs (one earned) on seven hits over seven innings without issuing a walk. She also picked up a win in relief in Siena’s 9–6 victory over Charleston Southern, throwing 4? scoreless innings to stabilize the game.

Lainey Brown, Manhattan
Fr., Northridge, CA, Granada Hills Charter
Lainey Brown had quite the Saturday in San Antonio with two home runs, one against both Prairie View A&M and Incarnate Word. The California native slugged 1.250% and collecting five RBI.

Annabelle Geiser, Marist
Fr., Mason, OH, William Mason High School
Annabelle Geiser hit .563 (9-for-16) with a 1.275 OPS (.650 on-base, .625 slugging) as Marist opened the season by going 3-2 in tournament play in South Carolina last weekend. She scored nine runs, drove in four, stole three bases, had a double, and drew four walks against just one strikeout. Geiser scored a run in all five games last weekend. Against College of Charleston on Friday, she went 4-for-5 with three RBIs, two runs scored, and a double in Marist's 6-5 win in eight innings. Her RBI single tied the game in the sixth, and her RBI double in the eighth put Marist ahead for good. The following day, she went 1-for-3 with two runs scored and a walk in Marist's 12-2 win over George Mason, and then went 2-for-2 with three runs scored, three stolen bases, an RBI, and two walks in a 14-3 win at Charleston Southern. She closed out her first collegiate weekend by going 2-for-4 with a run scored against Charleston Southern on Sunday.
