Fairfield’s Donnelly and Saint Peter’s Campbell Named Bob McCloskey Insurance MAAC Student-Athletes of the Week

  

Male Student-Athlete of the Week 

Amari Campbell, Saint Peter's, Track & Field 

Sr. / Plainfield, NJ 

  

Campbell has seven consecutive podium finishes in the long jump and has three straight 24-foot-plus leap. He broke the 15-year indoor school record (7.47m | 24' 6.25"). He was also first at MAAC's, only 24ft plus leap at Championships. In February, he was the MAAC Field Athlete of the Week.  

  

Female Student-Athlete of the Week 

Brynn Donnelly, Fairfield, Women’s Lacrosse                                                         

Sr. / Havertown, PA 

  

Brynn Donnelly recorded her 300th career draw control on Sunday against #19 Denver. She enters the week as one of only 10 active Division I players with 300 or more draw controls. An All-MAAC First Team selection last spring, Donnelly owns the Fairfield program records for draw controls in a career (300), a season (149), and a game (18). Donnelly is a Dean's List and MAAC All-Academic Team student as a Marketing major in the Charles F. Dolan School of Business.
