Male Student-Athlete of the Week
Dane Dillenback, Marist, Men’s Swimming & Diving
Sr. / Gloversville, NY, Gloversville
Senior Dane Dillenback is a leader for Marist men's swimming & diving in and out of the pool. Dane is a Biomedical Sciences major who has been named to the MAAC All-Academic Team each of the last three years. He is also a multi-year member of Marist's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Dillenback was part of Marist's MAAC championship team in 2024. He has contributed in multiple events throughout his career, finding success in sprints and on multiple relay teams. On this season's Senior Night against Binghamton on Jan. 24, Dillenback was part of two winning relays: the 400-yard medley relay and 200-yard freestyle relay.
Female Student-Athlete of the Week
Maddie Dischert, Rider, Women’s Indoor Track & Field
Jr. / Brigantine, NJ, Atlantic City
Coming off a 14th place finish at the MAAC Cross Country Championships in the fall, Dischert has been stellar in the Indoor Track and Field season, setting personal bests in the 3,000-meters, 5,000-meters, and mile. Her time in the 3,000-meters ranks fifth in program history, her 5,000-meter time is third in program history, and her mile time ranks in the top 10 in program history. She has done all of this while maintaining a 3.53 GPA in the classroom.
