Rider’s Pell and Fairfield’s Waclawski and Chang Named Levy Recognition MAAC Men’s and Women’s Golf Weekly Award Winners

Men’s Golfer of the Week/Rookie of the Week
Sebastian Pell, Rider

Sebastian Pell finished fifth individually at the Dr. Edwin Cottrell Invitational, shooting a 70-78, (+8) across the two-day event, helping the Broncs take second as a team.
 
Women’s Golfer of the Week
Katelynn Waclawski, Fairfield
Sr., Vienna, VA, Madison High School
 
Katelynn Waclawski earned a share of the St. John's Women's Invitational Championship, finishing tied for first in a 71 golfer field. After an opening round 81, Waclawski surged 11 spots up the leaderboard with a final round 73 to finish at 154 for the tournament. Her efforts paced the Stags to second of 12 teams, besting a ledger that included MAAC foes Quinnipiac, Merrimack, The Mount, and Siena.
 
Women’s Rookie of the Week
Addie Chang, Fairfield
Fr., Ardmore, PA, Episcopal Academy
 
Addie Chang tied for 17th of 71 golfers at the St. John's Women's Invitational. She carded a 162 (+20) for the event. Her efforts helped guide the Stags to second of 12 teams, besting a ledger that included MAAC foes Quinnipiac, Merrimack, The Mount, and Siena.
 
The 2026 MAAC Women's Golf Championship takes place April 21-23, 2026 and returns to Disney's Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, for the 15th consecutive season dating back to 2011 and the 24th time overall since 2000.
