Manhattan’s Lipponer, Fairfield’s Collins and Iona’s Varada Earn TicketSmarter Women’s Lacrosse Weekly Awards

Women’s Offensive Player of the Week:
Grace Lipponer, Manhattan
Sr., Lake Grove, NY, Sachem North
 
Grace Lipponer had eight goals and five assists for 13 points over a pair of Jaspers' wins.  She had three goals and four assists against Wagner. Lipponer tallied five goals versus Delaware State and tallied a first-half hat trick against the Hornets.
 
Women’s Defensive Player of the Week:
Casey Collins, Fairfield
Jr., Oakdale, NY, St. Anthony’s
 
In the first two starts of her career, Casey Collins posted a .500 save percentage with 19 stops in games against BU and Hofstra. She finished with a 9.50 GAA for the week, earning her first career win against the Terriers.
 
Women’s Rookie of the Week:
Kira Varada, Iona
Fr., Montrose, NY, Hendrick Hudson
 
In two wins freshman, Kira Varada, notched four goals on seven shots with six being on goal. She also added one ground ball, four draw controls, and three caused turnovers.
