Iona’s Norton, Canisius’ Gautreaux and Forcucci Selected as Jersey Mike’s MAAC Women’s Lacrosse Weekly Award Winners

Offensive Player of the Week
Calen Norton, Iona

Calen Norton delivered a strong three-game stretch for the Gaels, totaling nine goals, four ground balls, and five caused turnovers. She led the attack with six goals against Austin Peay while adding two ground balls and two caused turnovers, followed by a two-goal, two ground ball, two caused turnover performance against Winthrop. Norton capped the stretch with a goal and a caused turnover against Sacred Heart.
 
Defensive Player of the Week
Isabel Gautreaux, Canisius

Isabel Gautreaux made 13 saves on 16 shots for a .813 save percentage while shutting out Manhattan in the first half in Saturday's 18-3 victory over the Jaspers.

Rookie of the Week
Ella Forcucci, Canisus
Fr., Orchard Park, NY, Orchard Park
 
Ella Forcucci turned in a five point performance in an 18-3 victory over Manhattan on Saturday. Forcucci scored three goals and dished out two assists in the win. She added one ground ball and one caused turnover.
 
The 2026 MAAC Women's Lacrosse Championship is a six-team, single-elimination championship taking place April 26 - May 3, 2026. The first round will be hosted by the #3 and #4 seeds, and the semifinals and championship will be hosted by the top overall seed.
