Caputo had a career-high seven points in the Stags' 10-9 win over CAA foe Drexel. The sophomore attacker had three goals – including the marker that stood up as the game-winner – and dished out four assists. On the season, Caputo leads the MAAC with 15 assists.
Defensive Player of the Week
McAllister Salter, Siena
So., Tappan, NY, Saddle River Day High School
Salter made 17 saves and allowed just nine goals per game along with nine ground balls in earning wins against Vermont and at UMass Lowell this past Wednesday and Saturday. Salter is now 12-1 as a starting goalkeeper dating back to last season.
Rookie of the Week
Ella Forcucci, Canisus
Fr., Orchard Park, NY, Orchard Park
Ella Forcucci turned in eight goals and two assists across two contests last week at Louisville and Austin Peay. The freshman has amassed 24 goals this season, the fastest freshman in Canisius history to do so and has also tallied three-or-more goals in six straight outings to begin her collegiate career which is a program record. Forcucci notched five goals at Louisville on Wednesday before adding three more at Austin Peay on Friday.
The 2026 MAAC Women's Lacrosse Championship is a six-team, single-elimination championship taking place April 26 - May 3, 2026. The first round will be hosted by the #3 and #4 seeds, and the semifinals and championship will be hosted by the top overall seed.
