MAAC Announces 2022 Women’s Tennis All-Academic Team

EDISON, NJ (Apr. 22, 2022) – A total of 38 student-athletes were named to the 2022 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Women’s Tennis All-Academic Team, announced by the MAAC today.
 
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.

Fairfield University and Niagara University tied for the MAAC lead with eight honorees named to the All-Academic Team. Quinnipiac University and Siena College followed with six and five selections, respectively. Both Monmouth University and Rider University placed four on the team, while Marist College rounded out the team with three members.

The 2022 MAAC Men's & Women's Tennis Championships presented by VisitNJ will take place on April 23-24 at Mercer County Park Tennis Center in West Windsor, NJ. This will be the 10th consecutive championship held at Mercer County Park Tennis Center dating back to the 2012 MAAC Men's & Women's Tennis Championships.
