COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Quinnipiac women's tennis team fell 4-0 to No. 2 Texas A&M in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday morning.
QU will finish the season at 12-9, their most wins since 2023, including 10 straight wins prior to the NCAA Tournament. The Bobcats gained their berth to the NCAA Tournament with a thrilling 4-3 win over Fairfield in the MAAC Tournament Final.
Caitlin Flower won five games in her singles match against No. 13 Nicole Khirin, the most by any Bobcat in an NCAA Tournament singles match since Sarah Viebrock in 2011 against UCLA. She also took two games in doubles with partner Willow Renton. The Bobcats won 17 games in total.
Quinnipiac has now competed in 14 NCAA Tournament matches under Head Coach
Paula Miller. The Bobcats won 6 NEC titles with Miller on the coaching staff, and have now captured eight MAAC championships since joining the league in 2013-14.

THE 2024-25 SEASON
- QU finished the regular season 12-9, winning their eighth MAAC title, the most of any team in the conference.
- Since joining the league, the Bobcats are 92-5 against MAAC opponents, including postseason play.
- Paula Miller was named Coach of the Year for the eighth time since joining the MAAC.
- Willow Renton claimed the MAAC Player of the Year as well as Most Outstanding Performer of the MAAC Tournament, clinching the win over Fairfield in three sets.
