Male Student-Athlete of the Week
Thomas Drillien, Fairfield, Men’s Soccer

Thomas Drillien is a four-year forward for the Fairfield University men’s soccer team. He scored a goal in each of Fairfield’s two MAAC games last week, giving him three goals and one assist for seven points this season. He ranks as one of Fairfield’s top 20 leading scorers with 14 goals and six assists for 34 points during his four-year career. Drillien earned All-MAAC accolades during his career and received the MAAC Co-Rookie of the Year for the 2020-21 season. He also collected MAAC All-Academic honors as an Accounting major.
Female Student-Athlete of the Week
Andria Scaglione, Manhattan, Women’s Cross Country
Gr., Oceanside, NY, Oceanside
Andria Scaglione has been the lead runner for the Manhattan women's cross country team all season long. She's recorded two first-place finishes and one runner-up placing so far in 2023, including racing to a time of 17:30 in the 5k for a top-three school record time. Scaglione currently has a 3.75 GPA majoring in Business Administration.
