Male Student-Athlete of the Week
Zach Cameron, Niagara, Baseball
Gr., Hamilton, Ontario, Bishop Ryan School
Zach Cameron has been the backbone of the Niagara bullpen as he is the Niagara leader in career saves. This season he leads the MAAC in saves and is tied for the MAAC lead in wins. In the classroom, he has a 3.6 GPA while earning his degree in Education. He has been named to the MAAC All-Academic Team the last two seasons.
Female Student-Athlete of the Week
Teagan Schein-Becker, Rider, Women's Track & Field
Gr., Trappe, PA, Perkiomen Valley
Schein-Becker led the Broncs to their second-straight MAAC Outdoor Track & Field Championship earlier this month, earning gold in the 800 meters, 1500 meters and 4x800 meters en route to MAAC Track Most Outstanding Performer honors. She also won the 1500 meters at Penn Relays in April. She's set to advance to NCAA Division I East Preliminary Regionals next week, while also achieving in the classroom. She's already graduated with a degree in psychology and currently has a 3.56 GPA in pursuing her Master's in Athletic Leadership.
