MAAC Announces 2022-23 Men’s Indoor Track & Field All-Academic Team

EDISON, NJ (Feb. 17, 2023) – A total of 143 student-athletes were named to the 2022-23 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Men’s Indoor Track & Field All-Academic Team, the MAAC announced today.
 
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.

Mount St. Mary’s University led all MAAC schools with a conference-high 25 student-athletes named to the All-Academic Team. Finishing in a close second and third just behind the Mountaineers were Marist College and Rider University, placing 24, and 23 honorees on the team, respectively. Iona University followed with 20 selections, while Manhattan College placed 17 and Siena College added 15 on the team. Rounding out the All-Academic team were Canisius College (11) and Saint Peter’s University (8).

The 2023 MAAC Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships will take place on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 18-19, at the New Balance Armory Track and Field Center in New York, New York. The two-day meet will be hosted by Manhattan College and will be held at the Armory for the 19th consecutive year.
