EDISON, NJ (Feb. 17, 2023) – A total of 147 student-athletes were named to the 2022-23 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Women’s Indoor Track & Field All-Academic Team, the MAAC announced today.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
Marist College placed a MAAC-high 31 student-athletes on the All-Academic Team to lead all institutions. Quinnipiac University followed with 24 members, while Rider University (19), Mount St. Mary’s University (16), and Siena College (15) rounded out the league’s top-five. Canisius College was next with 14 selections, then Iona University with 13, Manhattan College placed 11 on the squad, and Saint Peter’s University (4) closed out the All-Academic team.

The 2023 MAAC Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships will take place on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 18-19, at the New Balance Armory Track and Field Center in New York, New York. The two-day meet will be hosted by Manhattan College and will be held at the Armory for the 19th consecutive year.
