Men’s Runner of the Week
Aiden Coles, Iona
R-Fr., St. Thomas, Ontario, St. Joseph’s Catholic
Red shirt freshman Aiden Coles finished first in the men's 6,000-meter race at the 2023 Marist Season Opener with a time of 18:59.6. He topped his brother Tristan, the race runner up by two seconds. All five Gael scorers finished in the Top-10 of the event as the Maroon & Gold finished first overall in the team standings.
Women’s Runner of the Week
Olivia Moran, Canisius
Gr., East Amherst, NY, Williamsville North
Olivia Moran paced the Canisius women’s cross country team as the individual champion of the Little Three Championship on Friday. Moran finished the annual race with a winning time of 17:51.0, leading the Golden Griffins to their 18th Little Three team title over the past 20 championships.
The 2023 MAAC Men’s & Women’s Cross Country Championships will be held at Twin Ponds on the Farm in Montgomery, New York on Saturday, October 28, 2023. The 2023 championships will be the first time the races will be held at Twin Ponds on the Farm and the meets will be hosted by Manhattan College for the 29th time.
