NEW YORK, NY (Feb. 25, 2024) – Rider claimed the 2024 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Women’s Indoor Track and Field Championship title for the second consecutive year on Sunday night at the Armory.
The Broncs finished the night with a total of 179.5 and saw two gold medalists in Mariah Stephens and Natya Glasco. Stephens took first place in the 60m hurdles, long jump and triple jump and Glasco took first in the shot put. Glasco’s throw was a personal record of 14.64m and Stephens long jump mark was a personal best, with a distance of 5.82m.
Mariah Stephens was awarded the honor of the 2024 Women's Most Outstanding Field Performer of the Meet and Rider head coach Bob Hamer was named the 2024 Coach of the Year to add to the accolated the Broncs picked up this weekend.
