Rider Claims Men’s 2024 MAAC Indoor Track and Field Championship Title

NEW YORK, NY (Feb. 25, 2024) – Rider University claimed the 2024 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Men’s Indoor Track and Field Championship title Sunday evening at the Armory. This is the Broncs’ second consecutive title, third overall.
 
The Broncs were able to hold the lead over the course of two days, finishing the meet with a total 190 points. Rider claimed 4 gold medals across the two-day championship from Artie Burgess, Devynn Lee, and Jayden DuBard. Lee claimed gold in the triple jump and high jump, Burgess finished first in the 60m dash and DuBard claimed gold in the shot put.
 
Along with a team victory, Devynn Lee was awarded MAAC Men's Most Outstanding Field Performer of the Meet and Rider head coach Bob Hamer was named the 2024 Men’s Coach of the Year.
