Isaac Gross paced Marist at the MET Championships on Saturday at Branch Brook Park in Newark, NJ. Gross came in fourth place overall in the men's 8K race with a time of 24:45.00, also helping to lead Marist to a third place team finish.
Women’s Runner of the Week
Shirleysa Rivas, Saint Peter's

Shirleysa Rivas paced the Peacocks in their two-race week. First, in the Peacock Invite, finishing second overall with a time of 9:42 (2.1km) as the lone Peacock in the top five. At the Metropolitan Championships, Rivas ran to a 49th-place finish, clocking 19:51.0 — a two-minute improvement from her time at last year's METS Championship.
The 2025 MAAC Men’s & Women’s Cross Country Championships will be held at Twin Ponds on the Farm in Montgomery, New York on Saturday, November 1, 2025. 2025 will mark the third straight year that the championship races will be held at Twin Ponds on the Farm and the meets will be hosted by Manhattan University for the 31st time.
