EDISON, NJ, (Oct. 31, 2025) – A total of 126 student-athletes were named to the 2025 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Men’s Cross Country All-Academic Team, announced by the league office today.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
Leading all MAAC institutions was Sacred Heart University with a conference-high of 19 student-athletes named to the All-Academic Team. The trio of Iona University, Marist University, and Siena University were next with 14 honorees each. Canisius University checked in at fifth with 12 selections, followed by Fairfield University with nine choices. Four teams placed seven student-athletes on the lineup, which included Merrimack College, Mount St. Mary’s University, Niagara University, and Rider University. Rounding out the All-Academic team were Quinnipiac University (6), Manhattan University (5), and Saint Peter’s University (5).

The 2025 MAAC Men’s & Women’s Cross Country Championships will be held at Twin Ponds on the Farm in Montgomery, New York on Saturday, November 1, 2025. 2025 will mark the third straight year that the championship races will be held at Twin Ponds on the Farm and the meets will be hosted by Manhattan University for the 31st time.
