MONTGOMERY, NY, (Nov. 1, 2025) – Quinnipiac University won its fourth straight Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Women’s Cross Country Championship on Saturday, November 1 at Twin Ponds on the Farm in Montgomery, New York.
Fairfield University’s Hannah Snayd won her second consecutive MAAC Women’s Most Outstanding Runner award, winning the 2025 MAAC Individual Championship race in a MAAC 6k course record time of 20:04.8. She becomes the Stags second ever individual MAAC champion, after becoming the program’s first champion last year.
Quinnipiac posted a winning score of 36 en route to the program’s fourth overall team title. The Bobcats had five runners secure top-15 finishes and earn All-MAAC accolades. Leading the charge for Quinnipiac were a pair of top five runners in bronze medalist Sierra Gray (20:20.2) and fourth place finisher Rachel St. Germain. Joining the duo as All-MAAC Team honorees for the Bobcats were Maddeline O’Neil (21:05.6), Zoe Merryman (21:23.3), and Ashley Carrillo (21:27.7), finishing in seventh, ninth, and 13
th place, respectively.
Joining Snayd, Gray and St. Germain in the top five was 2023 MAAC Champion Tayla Gunton of Iona, who finished as the silver medalist with a time of 20:16.3 and Manhattan’s Mikaella Martin who took fifth place, crossing the finish line in 20:49.9.
The MAAC All-Rookie Team consisted of 2025 Most Outstanding Rookie, Alivia Schweibinz from Sacred Heart, Iona’s Sofia Lumbreras, Marist’s Abigail Kowalczyk, and Quinnipiac’s pair of Ashley Carillo and Alyssa Turns.

Postseason competition continues on Friday, November 14 at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championship which takes place at Hopkinton State Fairgrounds Cross Country Course, Hopkinton, New Hampshire, hosted by Boston College. The NCAA Division I Cross Country Men's and Women's Selection show will air live on ncaa.com on Saturday November 15 at 5:00 p.m. The NCAA Division I Championship will take place November 22 at Gans Creek Cross Country Course in Columbia, Missouri, hosted by Missouri.
