Elena Giacomini had a big weekend for the Bobcats, helping them extend their win streak to 13 straight matches. Giacomini recorded a total of 39 kills, 15 against Niagara and 24 against Canisius. Giacomini finished the weekend with one assist, one service ace, 26 digs, and 4.0 total blocks. Giacomini recorded a double-double in each game of the Western New York trip.
Libero of the Week
Mia Schaefer, Niagara

Mia Schaefer recorded 65 total digs in nine sets over the weekend for Niagara in a 1-1 week. Schaefer had a career-high 33 digs in Niagara's victory over Merrimack on Saturday and also added three aces. Against Quinnipiac on Friday, she finished with 32 digs.
Setter of the Week
Ella Bourque, Canisius
Sr., Yorkville, IL, Yorkville
Senior Ella Bourque turned in 108 assists over 10 sets across two matches played this weekend. Bourque tallied 59 assists marking the third time this season that she has recorded 55-or-more assists in a match. Bourque sits seven assists away from tying the program record of career assists.
Rookie of the Week
Emma Bortolotti, Fairfield
Fr., San Pietro di Feletto, Italy, Liceo Classico G. Marconi Conegliano
Emma Bortolotti hit .465 en route to 4.50 kills per set as Fairfield locked up the MAAC Regular Season Championship with a pair of road wins. Bortolotti had 15 kills on .524 hitting in the Friday sweep at Manhattan and added 12 more at a .409 clip in Saturday's 3-0 win at Iona. Bortolotti filled out her statline with five digs and four blocks.
The 2025 MAAC Volleyball Championship is a six-team, single-elimination championship taking place November 18 - November 24, 2025. The first round will be hosted by the #3 and #4 seeds. The semifinal round and championship final will be hosted by the #1 seed. The semifinals can be played between November 21-23, and the championship final can be played between November 22-24.
