EDISON, NJ (Feb. 4, 2025) – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) today announced its ESPNU TV schedule for the upcoming 2025 lacrosse seasons and for the first time in league history, both the men’s and women’s championship games will air live nationally on ESPNU.
2025 will mark the fourth consecutive season the MAAC Men’s Lacrosse Championship final will be played on ESPNU, and this will be the seventh time overall the contest will air on the national stage dating back to 2017. The 2025 MAAC Men's Lacrosse Championship final will take place on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at the home site of the top overall seed in the field. Opening face-off for the title will be at 12:30 p.m. on ESPNU.
The 2025 Women’s Lacrosse Championship finale will air nationally on ESNPU for the first time in league history. The championship contest is scheduled for Sunday, May 4, 2025, with the top overall seeded team in the field set to host. First draw for the trophy will be at 11:00 a.m. on ESPNU.
The 2025 MAAC Men's Lacrosse Championship is a six-team, single-elimination championship taking place from April 27 through May 3, 2025. The first round will be hosted by No. 3 and No. 4 seeds, while the semifinals and championship will be hosted by the top overall seed. All rounds of the championship will reseed. The 2025 MAAC Women's Lacrosse Championship is an eight-team, single-elimination championship taking place between April 25 and May 4, 2025. The first and second rounds will be hosted by the No. 3 and No. 4 seeds on Friday and Sunday, April 25 and 27. The bracket will reseed following the second round and the semifinals and championship final will be hosted by the No. 1 seed in the field on Friday, May 2 and Sunday, May 4.
