Jack Kehoe, Mount St. Mary's

Jack Kehoe posted a brace in the season opening draw at Navy. Kehoe earned the first goal off a rebound in the 70th minute, cutting the Mount’s deficit to 2-1. He equalized the game off a header in the 87th minute, completing a comeback from 2-0 down against the Midshipmen. It was Kehoe’s first career multi-goal game as a collegiate player.
Defensive Player of the Week
Alessandro Bedei, Merrimack

Back, Alessandro Bedei scored the game winning goal for Merrimack in a 1-0 victory against Holy Cross in the season opener on Sunday. Bedei received a cross from 35 yards out and riffled a bicycle kick to the top left corner over the outstretched Crusaders goalkeeper for a highlight reel strike in the 80
th minute. The goal was the first of his career as a Warrior.
Rookie of the Week
Noah Baumslag, Canisius
Fr., New York, NY, Scholar Athletes Leadership Academy
Noah Baumslag recorded a goal and an assist in his collegiate soccer debut as Canisius defeated VMI 3-0 on August 21. Baumslag assisted on the Golden Griffins second goal of the day in the 60
th minute and closed out the scoring in the 76th minute with his first collegiate tally to determine the 3-0 margin of victory. His three points were also the most by a Canisius player during opening week.
The 2025 MAAC Men’s Soccer Championship is a six-team, single-elimination championship taking place November 9-16, 2025. Each match during the championship will be hosted by the higher seed and all rounds of the championship will reseed. The first round will take place on Sunday, November 9, followed by the semifinals on Thursday, November 13, and concluding with the championship final on Sunday, November 16.
