Offensive Player of the Week/Rookie of the Week

Enbiya Bolur had a breakout week for the Iona University men’s soccer team. The rookie paced the Maroon & Gold offense with two goals, both game winning tallies in the 2-0 week. He started the week making his first career start at Mazzella Field and scored the opening goal, the first of his career in the 26th minute of the 3-0 win over Stonehill. Bolur capped the week scoring the game winning goal in the 72nd minute in the 1-0 victory at Binghamton to give Iona its first road win of the season. He is ranked for the league lead in game winning goals after a stellar week of play.

Josh Bells, Iona

Freshman Josh Bells had a sensational week for the Iona University men’s soccer team, helping propel the team to two wins with two shutout performances in goal. Bells tallied his career win and shutout on Wednesday, recording two saves in the 3-0 victory over Stonehill at Mazzella Field. He followed that up with another shutout in the 1-0 victory at Binghamton. The Fair Lawn, NJ native made four saves in his first road start, including three second half stops to secure the win. Bells ranks tied for the league lead in shutouts this season.
The 2025 MAAC Men’s Soccer Championship is a six-team, single-elimination championship taking place November 9-16, 2025. Each match during the championship will be hosted by the higher seed and all rounds of the championship will reseed. The first round will take place on Sunday, November 9, followed by the semifinals on Thursday, November 13, and concluding with the championship final on Sunday, November 16.
