Offensive Player of the Week
Kyle Evans, Marist

Kyle Evans tallied five points in Marist's MAAC opener, a 5-2 home triumph over Quinnipiac on Saturday. Evans opened the scoring with a goal in the 10th minute and added his second in the 34th minute. His assist came on a goal in the 64th minute, which was the second the Red Foxes scored in a span of 2:22 as they broke open a 2-2 tie. Evans led all players in the match in shots (six), shots on goal (three), and goals (two) as Marist improved to 5-0-2 overall.
Defensive Player of the Week
Dominic Dominguez, Canisius
Gr., Jacksonville, FL, American/Atlantic Coast High School
Graduate goalkeeper Dom Dominguez went 2-0 in net last week for the Golden Griffins. He made four saves in Canisius’ 3-1 win vs Mercyhurst on September 17. Dominguez followed up his strong performance with a shutout vs Rider on September 20, making five saves and leading Canisius to the 1-0 clean sheet victory.
Rookie of the Week
Adriano Iannello, Marist
Fr., Toronto, Canada, Cardinal Carter High School
Adriano Iannello scored game-winning goal in both of Marist's matches this past week, as the Red Foxes improved to 5-0-2 overall. On Tuesday, Iannello scored the lone goal of Marist's 1-0 triumph over Lehigh in the 59th minute. In the Red Foxes' MAAC opener against Quinnipiac on Saturday, his goal in the 62nd minute broke a 2-2 tie and gave Marist the lead for good. It was the first of three unanswered goals the Red Foxes scored in the second half. Iannello also had an assist on Kyle Evans' second goal of the first half in the 34th minute. For the week, Iannello finished with five points (two goals, one assist). This season, he is the Red Foxes' leader in points (nine) while being tied for the team lead in both goals (three) and assists (three).
The 2025 MAAC Men’s Soccer Championship is a six-team, single-elimination championship taking place November 9-16, 2025. Each match during the championship will be hosted by the higher seed and all rounds of the championship will reseed. The first round will take place on Sunday, November 9, followed by the semifinals on Thursday, November 13, and concluding with the championship final on Sunday, November 16.
