MAAC Adds Macall Martin as Senior Associate Commissioner

EDISON, NJ (Sep. 18, 2025) – Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Commissioner Travis Tellitocci, has announced the hiring of Macall Martin to the conference office staff.
 
“We are excited to welcome Macall to the MAAC team,” said MAAC Commissioner Travis Tellitocci. “With experience at both a Power 5 school in Oregon State and an Ivy League institution in Princeton, she brings a unique background that will greatly benefit our Conference. Her proven track record in brand building, fan engagement, and strategic partnerships will be instrumental as we strengthen our digital strategy, marketing initiatives, and media partnerships to grow the MAAC’s visibility and exposure.”
 
Martin joins the MAAC as Senior Associate Commissioner, External Affairs. Martin will be a key member of the MAAC’s executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing all external operations of the league. In her role, she will be responsible for leading the MAAC’s social media and digital strategy, driving marketing and branding initiatives, managing corporate partnerships with Van Wagner, and overseeing the media rights relationship with ESPN.
 
Martin previously worked in Princeton Athletics Department since October 2017, serving as the Associate Athletics Director for Strategic Engagement. At Princeton, she oversaw strategy and operations across areas including marketing, ticketing, fan experience, branding, and community engagement. Martin led numerous high-impact initiatives, including the department’s yearlong celebration of The 150th Year of Princeton Football, which featured a marquee game at Yankee Stadium, as well as #Princeton500, a campaign commemorating Princeton’s record 500 Ivy League championships. She also served as the lead project coordinator for the 50th anniversary of women’s athletics at Princeton, in conjunction with Title IX recognition efforts. Other major projects have included branding overhauls for multiple athletics facilities and the development and rollout of a new Athletics Department style guide. Martin also aided the RFP process to secure a sole provider for the department’s screen printing and embroidery needs. Martin played a key role in reimagining Princeton’s external brand strategy. Collaborating across communications, multimedia, and ticketing, she helped unify promotional and content efforts to grow brand awareness and affinity, particularly through her leadership in graphic design and creative direction and she also worked closely with the department’s sponsorship unit (Learfield) on fan-facing, revenue-generating campaigns and in-venue experience initiatives.
 
Prior to Princeton, Martin spent seven seasons at her alma mater, Oregon State University, where she held multiple roles within the Marketing and External Relations teams. She managed marketing, fan experience, and design efforts for men’s and women’s basketball, baseball, volleyball, and wrestling, while also supporting football and managing the mascot and internship programs. Highlights from her time at Oregon State include leading a full athletics brand identity overhaul in partnership with Nike, launching the Road to the Final Four campaign for women’s basketball, and developing community-focused programs like Haircuts for Cancer and Beavers Beyond the Classroom.
 
Martin began her athletics career as a student intern at Oregon State before joining the department full-time in 2011. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Media Communications with a minor in Writing.
 
Martin is also an active member of NACMA and Women Leaders in College Sports.
