EDISON, NJ (Feb. 13, 2026) – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) today announced the upcoming 2026 MAAC Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships will be broadcast live on ESPN+ for the first time in league history.
“Bringing the MAAC Indoor Track & Field Championship to ESPN+ is a meaningful step forward for the Conference,” said MAAC Commissioner Travis Tellitocci. “This broadcast expands the championship’s reach and elevates the stories of our institutions and competitors on a national platform. We’re excited to highlight our student-athletes and the championship experience at The Armory on a national stage.”
In 2026, the MAAC Indoor Track & Field Championships returns to the Nike Track and Field Center at The Armory in New York, New York for the 22
nd consecutive year dating back to 2004. The two-day meet will take place on Saturday and Sunday, February 21-22, 2026. 2026 will mark the first time in conference history that the indoor championships will be broadcasted live on EPSN+, having been aired via MAAC.TV in previous years. The broadcast announcers for the championships will include Taylor Mascetta and Nicoleta Papavasilakas, who have called the event in prior years.
“Our long-standing partnership with the MAAC reflects The Armory’s commitment to showcasing collegiate track and field at the highest level,” said Zakia Haywood, Director of College Track & Field, The Armory Foundation. “The enthusiasm around the MAAC Championships is one of the highlights of The Armory's collegiate season.”
Last March, the MAAC and ESPN announced a multiyear extension of their
media rights agreement, increasing exposure for student-athletes from MAAC member institutions across all of ESPN’s platforms. Under the new agreement, select regular season conference men’s and women’s basketball games and Olympic sport contests will be featured on ESPN, ESPN2, or ESPNU and more than 500 MAAC events will stream annually on ESPN+ and on the ESPN App.
