Men’s Track Performer of the Week
Duncan Robinson, Iona

Junior Duncan Robinson turned in a MAAC- and nationally-significant performance at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational on February 13 in Boston. Robinson placed third in the 3,000-meter run in 7:48.13, the second-fastest time in program history and the 20th sub-eight-minute mark ever recorded by an Iona athlete. His 7:48.13 is the fastest 3,000-meter time in the MAAC this season and the conference’s only sub-eight-minute performance. He lowered the previous top MAAC time by 22 seconds. Teammate Baptiste Cartieaux now ranks second in the conference following the same race. Nationally, Robinson ranks 32nd in the NCAA this season. He is the only MAAC student-athlete ranked in the Top 50 in any event and owns the fastest time in the Northeast region this year, the highest mark of any MAAC performer.

Amari Campbell, Saint Peter's

Amari Campbell secured his sixth consecutive podium finish in the long jump and his second straight 24-foot-plus leap at Yale’s 19th Annual Giegengack Invitational over the weekend. The senior continued his dominance in the event, finishing .54m ahead of the field, and was the only competitor to clear seven meters. Campbell recorded a mark of 7.32m, landing just half an inch shy of his career best, and currently sits first in the conference.
 
Men’s Rookie of the Week
Jaxyn Mahoney, Canisius
Fr., Corning, NY, Corning-Painted Post High School
 
Freshman Jaxyn Mahoney continued his strong indoor season with another first-place finish at the SPIRE Collegiate Indoor Games, earning his second 800-meter win of the year with a time of 1:54.63. With the victory, Mahoney now has two wins and four top-three finishes during an impressive freshman indoor campaign.
 
Women’s Track Performer of the Week
Nyasia Dailey, Quinnipiac
Sr., Middletown, CT, Middletown
 
Nyasia Dailey made MAAC history on Saturday afternoon, becoming the first woman in league history to crack the 7.40 barrier in the 60m dash, racing 7.39 to win the event at the Giegengack Invite at Yale. The sprinter followed up her 7.45 in the prelims with yet another victory in the sprint race as she remains undefeated in the indoor season. Dailey continued to distance herself atop the 60m program chart, now sitting 0.13 clear of second after she ran 7.39 on Saturday.
 
Women’s Field Performer of the Week
Gabby Appiah, Quinnipiac
Sr., Newark, DE, Newark
 
Appiah threw the third-highest mark of the season in the MAAC in the Shot Put, hitting 12.69m at the Yale Invite. It was also the best mark by any Bobcat since 2022.
 
Women’s Rookie of the Week
Alex Schulz, Iona
Fr., Williamstown, Australia, Williamstown
 
Freshman Alex Schulz delivered a standout performance at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Saturday at the BU Track & Tennis Center in Boston, posting a 9:25.41 in the 3,000-meter run. Schulz’s time ranks as the eighth-fastest all-time performance in program history and places her less than a second shy of the freshman record of 9:24.51 set by former Olympian Maya Rehberg in 2014. Her mark is the second-fastest 3,000-meter time in the MAAC this season, trailing only teammate Tayla Gunton from the same race. Schulz also currently owns the 15th-fastest time in the Northeast Region this indoor season.
 
The 2026 MAAC Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships will be held on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 21-22, 2026, at the Nike Track and Field Center at The Armory in New York, New York. The two-day meet will be hosted by Manhattan University and will be held at The Armory for the 22nd consecutive year dating back to 2004.
