Player of the Week
Andreaus Lewis, Manhattan
Gr., Atlanta, GA,
Pensacola State CC/Winder Barrow High School
Coming off a 3-1 week for the Jaspers, Lewis played a prominent role in the victories for the Green and White, that included continuing a hitting streak, now extended to five games, combining for a 8-for-17, crossed the plate four times, added seven RBI's (currently on a four game RBI streak too), two doubles, two home runs, one walk, and one strikeout. Lewis now sits with five round trippers, and a .343 batting average, which ranks eighth in the MAAC this season.
Pitcher of the Week
Christian Aiello, Rider
Sr., Hewitt, NJ, West Milford
Aiello was dominant out of the bullpen in Rider’s game two win at Fairfield. Entering in the sixth inning with no outs and runners on first and second, the senior left-hander delivered in a pressure-packed moment, striking out all three batters he faced to escape the jam and protect a 4-3 lead. He took control from there, tossing 4.0 shutout innings while allowing just two hits and racking up 10 strikeouts against 16 batters faced to secure the victory.

Peyton Vancas is having a solid freshman campaign in Hamden. Last week out, Vancas hit .500 in three contests, going 5-for-10 at the plate.
