2026 MAAC Women’s Golf Championship Set to Begin Tuesday at Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course

LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL (Apr. 20, 2026) – The 2026 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), Women’s Golf Championship is set to take place Tuesday, April 21 through Thursday, April 23 at Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.

The championship will feature a three-round, 54-hole format and returns to Disney’s Golf Course for the 15th consecutive season (since 2011) and the 24th overall since 2000. Notably, the 2026 championship marks the first time in league history that the men’s and women’s golf championships will be held separately.

Quinnipiac University enters as the defending champion and preseason favorite, earning eight of nine first-place votes. Since joining the MAAC in the 2013–14 season, the Bobcats have captured eight women’s golf titles, including a dominant five-year run from 2014–2018. Quinnipiac has consistently been a contender, finishing in the top three at every MAAC Championship appearance, including runner-up finishes in 2019 and 2020–21, and a third-place finish in 2024.

Competing in this year’s championship field are Fairfield University, Iona University, Manhattan University, Merrimack College, Mount St. Mary’s University, Niagara University, Quinnipiac University, Sacred Hear University, Siena University, and UAlbany.
