2026 Women’s Golf All-MAAC Teams Announced

LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL (Apr. 20, 2026) – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), today announced the 2026 Women’s Golf All-MAAC Teams, as voted on by the league’s 10 head coaches.
 
The six athletes that comprised the Women’s All-MAAC First Team included Thantita Aungsuseewong and Mia Cepeda of UAlbany, Katelynn Waclawski from Fairfield University, and the Quinnipiac University trio of Marisa Flores, Sophia Fujita, and Samantha Galantini. Cepeda was the lone unanimous selection to the All-MAAC First Team. The pair of Fujita and Galantini were the only repeat First Team honorees, while Cepeda, Waclawski, and Flores ascended after being chosen to the All-MAAC Second Team last year.
 
Leading the conference with four All-MAAC choices was UAlbany, followed by Quinnipiac with three selections, while Fairfield and Sacred Heart each received two honorees.
 
MAAC Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and Coach of the Year, will be announced next week on Wednesday, April 29 following the conclusion of the MAAC Championship.

2026 will mark the first time in league history the men’s and women’s championships are held separately.
 
The 2026 MAAC Women's Golf Championship takes place April 21-23, 2026 and returns to Disney's Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, for the 15th consecutive season dating back to 2011 and the 24th time overall since 2000.
