LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL (Apr. 27, 2026) – The 2026 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), Men’s Golf Championship is set to take place Tuesday, April 28 through Thursday, April 30 at Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
The championship will feature a three-round, 54-hole format and returns to Disney’s Golf Course for the 15th consecutive season (since 2011) and the 24th overall since 2000. Notably, the 2026 championship marks the first time in league history that the men’s and women’s golf championships will be held separately.
Fairfield University enters as the defending champion and the unanimous preseason favorite, aiming to capture back-to-back titles. The Stags are coming off their most recent championship victory in 2025, marking the program’s first title since 1997. Fairfield has also produced four NCAA individual qualifiers: Steve Burak (2013), Alex Taylor (2014), Killian McGinley (2023), and Tadgh Burke (2025).
Iona was selected second in the preseason coaches’ poll and brings a strong championship pedigree with seven MAAC titles. The Gaels are aiming for their eighth crown, with their most recent coming in 2021 as part of a dominant stretch that included three consecutive conference championships.
Competing in this year’s championship field are Canisius University, Fairfield University, Iona University, Manhattan University, Merrimack College, Mount St. Mary’s University, Niagara University, Rider University, Sacred Heart University, Saint Peter’s University, and Siena University.
