Ben Hebert, Niagara, Men’s Golf

Ben Hebert has shown excellence on and off the course this year as he has made the Dean's List five semesters in a row. On the course Hebert has recorded first place finishes in the Niagara Dual against LeMoyne along with the top spot in the Little Three with St. Bonaventure and Canisius where Niagara recorded their first Little Three victory since 2003. During the Autumn Invitational Hebert finished in third place and broke the team record for 54 holes with a 206 (-7) beating the previous record of 207.
Female Student-Athlete of the Week
Sophia Ingenito, Merrimack, Women’s Lacrosse
So./Miller Place, NY, Miller Place High School
Sophia Ingenito has scored 17 goals this season to go along with 14 assists. Ingenito has scored five goals twice this season, most recently, against Quinnipiac, in a 15-14 victory. Ingenito's other five goals game came against UNH earlier in the season, while she exploded for a six assist game at Presbyterian the week before. In the classroom, Ingenito has been a part of the presidents list in every semester at Merrimack, building an impressive 3.9 GPA. She is a part of the One Love Club at Merrimack, and is an active participant in other charities that the team sponsors.
