Rider’s Racevicius & Binning and Siena’s Kalac & Spenziero Win MAAC Swimming & Diving Weekly Awards

Men’s Swimmer of the Week
Lucas Racevicius, Rider
Sr., Watertown, CT, Holy Cross High School

Racevicius won the 100-back in 49.73 and the 200-back in 1:52.41 in Rider's dual meet against Penn. The senior owns the MAAC's fastest time in the 100-back and second-fastest in the 200-back this season. 
 
Men’s Diver of the Week
Sean Binning, Rider
So., Annandale, VA, W.T. Woodson

Binning scored 273.75 in the 1-meter and 298.65 in the 3-meter during Rider's dual meet against Penn.
 
Women’s Swimmer of the Week
 Rory Kalac, Siena
Sr., Huntersville, NC, Clements (TX)

Kalac won the 50 free (24.36) and 100 free (52.96), while splitting 23.88 in the winning 200 medley relay for 50 free and 23.92 in the winning 200 free relay, both from the anchor spots.
 
Women’s Diver of the Week
Talia Spenziero, Siena
Jr., Clifton Park, NY, Shenendehowa

Spenziero won both the one-meter (252.60) and the three-meter (264.15) diving events on Saturday against Stonehill.


 
The 2023 MAAC Men's & Women’s Swimming & Diving Championships return to the Burt Flickinger Center on the campus of Erie Community College (ECC) in Buffalo, NY for the 12th consecutive year. The four-day meet co-hosted by Canisius College and Niagara University will take place from Wednesday, February 8 through Saturday, February 11.
