Paul Otieno, Quinnipiac, Men’s Basketball

Otieno leads all MAAC players in both rebounds per game (8.3) and blocks per game (1.93) so far in 2024-25. He's recorded six double-doubles, including one during Quinnipiac's latest MAAC win over Saint Peter's on Jan. 3. Otieno is averaging 12.5 PPG & 8.3 RPG so far this year, shooting 58.3% in total. He also ranks third nationally in offensive rebounds per contest (4.27). The Bobcats' big man is currently finishing a Masters of Business Administration at Quinnipiac.
Female Student-Athlete of the Week
Morgan Lee, Marist, Women’s Basketball
Jr. / Kent, CT, Kent School
A three-time member of the Dean's list in three semesters at Marist, Morgan Lee is having a breakout campaign. The political science major is averaging 12.4 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 2.3 blocks per game, which are all career-highs for the junior. Lee has helped lead Maist to seven wins so far this season, surpassing last season's total of six.
