POUGHKEEPSIE, New York – The Marist University men's soccer program has jumped three spots to #17 in the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I rankings.
Marist entered the poll for the first time in program history at #20 last week after receiving votes on Sept. 16.
Last week, Marist won its lone match of the week, earning a 2-1 triumph in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference contest at Mount St. Mary's. The win moved Marist to 6-0-2 overall, and 2-0 in MAAC play.
Marist's .875 winning percentage is currently tied for ninth in the country. The Red Foxes are one of 18 teams nationwide without a loss this season.
Marist returns to action with two matches this week. The Red Foxes will host Fairfield on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Tenney Stadium. Marist will then travel to Niagara for a match on Saturday at 2 p.m.
