Men’s Swimmer of the Week
Lance Cruz, Niagara

Lance Cruz won three individual events this past weekend in a dual meet against Binghamton. Cruz won the 100 Breaststroke (58.22), 200 Breaststroke (2:06.66) and the 200 IM (1:54.18). Cruz also has the conference leading time in the 200 IM.
 
Men’s Diver of the Week
Stavros Xantheas, Rider
Jr., West Orange, NJ, West Orange
 
Stavros Xantheas swept the diving events in Rider's dual victory over Iona. The junior scored 276.45 on the 1-meter and followed that up, scoring 263.10 on the 3-meter.
  
Men’s Rookie of the Week
Vilem Mikula, Niagara
Fr., Pardubice, Czech Republic, Gymnazium Pardubice Dasicka 1083
 
Vilem Mikula earned a win in the 100 Backstroke in a dual meet against Binghamton. Mikula swam a winning time of 52.11.
 
Women’s Swimmer of the Week & Rookie of the Week
Natasha De Pree, Fairfield
Fr., Somerset, England, Millfield Futures
 
Natasha De Pree won all three of her individual events in Fairfield's dual meet with Bryant University. She started with the top time in the 800 free, clocking in at 9:10.05. Her middle race came in the 200 free when she took first place with her time of 2:04.80. She capped her day with a first-place finish in the 400 free by touching the wall in 4:25.78. She won her fourth race as part of the 400 free relay (3:59.19).
 
Women’s Diver of the Week
Gabrielle Norton, Marist
So., Albany, NY, UNCW/Colonial Central
 
Gabrielle Norton prevailed in both 1-meter and 3-meter diving in Marist's victory over Canisius. She posted a score of 231.00 in one-meter, and had a 225.68 mark in three-meter.
 
The 2026 MAAC Men's & Women's Swimming & Diving Championships is a four-day meet that will take place February 11-14, 2026, and will be hosted at SPIRE Academy in Geneva, Ohio. 2026 will mark the third straight year the championships are hosted at SPIRE.
