EDISON, NJ (June 30, 2025) – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) has announced its Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Executive Board for the 2025-26 academic year.
Francesca DiCamillo of Canisius University has been named as the committee Chair,
Elise Barricelli from Quinnipiac University was selected as Vice Chair, and
Luke Davidson of Fairfield University has been chosen as Secretary/Division I SAAC Representative. The terms commence on July 1, 2025.
MAAC SAAC Chair, DiCamillo is a junior and member of the Canisius women’s rowing team, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management. She has raced in several boats during her two years as a Golden Griffin, earning a spot on the 2025 All-MAAC First Team after racing in the stroke seat of the V8 at the 2025 MAAC Championship. DiCamillo was a member of Canisus SAAC during 2024-25 and attended the MAAC SAAC in-person meetings during the Spring of 2025. She is a frequent volunteer at the local soup kitchen in the Buffalo, NY and she has also been on the Dean’s List a pair of times, in the Fall of 2023 and 2024. With two years of eligibility remaining, DiCamillo’s position as MAAC SAAC Chair is a two-year appointment that will conclude at the end of the 2026-27 academic year.
MAAC SAAC Vice Chair, Barricelli participates on the women’s indoor and outdoor track & field teams at Quinnipiac. She received a Bachelor of Science in Business in May of 2025 and she is pursuing an MBA during the 2025-26 academic year. Barricelli has been a member of Quinnipiac’s SAAC over the past two years, serving as the Co-President this past year and set to be President in 2025-26. She has participated in MAAC SAAC in-person meetings three times, in Spring 2024, Fall 2024, and Spring 2025. Barricelli is heavily involved with on-campus efforts and in the community. She is the President of Morgan's Message, a mental health organization on campus, and serves as the Treasurer of Women's Health Organization. Barricelli’s term as MAAC SAAC Vice Chair is one year term, concluding at the end of spring 2026.
Davidson, a member of the Fairfield men’s basketball team, has been appointed as MAAC SAAC Secretary and Division I SAAC Representative. A two-time MAAC All-Academic Team honoree (2023-24, 2024-25), he was also the captain of the team in 2024-25, appearing in 12 games over his career as a Stag. Davison has been a member of the SAAC at Fairfield the last two years, while attending MAAC SAAC in-person meetings this past spring. Off the court, he works with Stags Care Team, acting as a liaison between men’s basketball and Stags Care committee on topics of mental health, overall well-being, and life after college planning. Davison also serves as a lector in the community of faith for Liturgical Ministry at Fairfield and is an intern in the Fairfield Athletic Department. Davidson’s positions are two-year appointments that will conclude at the end of the 2026-27 academic year.
